About Elite
Elite is a sweet and gentle older terrier mix searching for a calm and loving retirement home where he can enjoy life at his own pace. This affectionate gentleman adores his people and is happiest curled up beside them, making him the perfect companion and lap dog. Elite doesnt ask for much. He is well past his marathon-walking days and is more than content with a gentle potter around the garden and plenty of time to relax. A peaceful home where he can snooze, cuddle, and enjoy the company of his favourite humans would be his dream come true. While Elite is incredibly loving, he can sometimes be a little shy and prefers not to be over-handled. He would thrive in a home with teens or adults who understand when he needs a little space to rest and recharge. When it comes to other dogs, Elite is polite enough when passing them on walks, but hes very much a people-focused boy and has no interest in playing or socialising with canine companions. For this reason, he would be happiest as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. If youre looking for a loyal, affectionate companion to share your sofa and your heart, Elite could be the perfect match.

You can search for a dog based on your location and lifestyle. We have dogs available for adoption across the whole of Ireland. While some dogs are based at our rehoming centre in Dublin, many of our dogs live all over Ireland with foster carers or their current owners until they can find their forever homes. The best way to find out how you can meet them is to fill out an application.
If you are hoping to adopt a puppy, we're happy to discuss this as part of the application process. Please bear in mind that we don’t usually add their rehoming profiles to our website as puppies grow and change in appearance so quickly.
