Adult Dog Training Online

Welcome to adulthood!
Things may feel easier now that your dog is in their adult life stage, but this is also a time when behaviours can become habits. Whether you've had your dog since they were a puppy or you've recently welcomed an adult dog into your home, there's still plenty you can do to support their learning and help them thrive.
Some owners also may feel that if they didn't get the work done when their dog was young, their dog is now a lost cause from a training perspective, but we're delighted to tell you that isn't the case, and that adult pooches are more than capable of becoming well trained and well adjusted dogs.

Training with Dogs Trust
The Dogs Trust approach
At Dogs Trust we train dogs using reward based methods, and do not advocate the use of any training equipment which changes behaviour by causing pain or fear in dogs.
Dogs which are trained with rewards enjoy learning. They are a partner in the training sessions and often 'offer' new behaviours to see if they get a reward.
Reward based training works to change behaviour and enhances the bond between dog and owner.
