About Myah

Myah is a beautiful young girl and we are fairly certain she knows it, especially when she strikes the perfect pose for the camera. This clever girl has brains to spare and absolutely loves learning. Whether it is mastering new tricks, working through training exercises, or tackling enrichment activities, Myah throws herself into every challenge with excitement. Myah is wonderfully friendly with the people she meets and never says no to a fuss. Life is one big game in Myah's eyes, and if she had her way, play time would last all day. She is still learning that there are moments when it is important to switch off and relax, so her new family will need to continue helping her develop those valuable settling skills. As a young dog, Myah is still very much a work in progress, and she is looking for adopters who are excited by that rather than put off by it. She will flourish in a home that can provide consistency, structure, and ongoing training to help her continue developing into the amazing dog we know she can be. Myah would also love a home with a secure enclosed garden where she can stretch her legs, play, and burn off some of her endless energy between walks and training sessions. While Myah enjoys people, she can find busy environments and other dogs very distracting and overwhelming. She prefers to have plenty of space around her when out and about, and she is happiest when she is not having to navigate crowded walking routes or frequent close encounters with other dogs. Her ideal home will be in a quieter area with peaceful places to explore where she can enjoy her walks without feeling the need to focus on what every other dog is doing. For the right home, Myah will be an incredible companion. She is affectionate, intelligent, full of fun, and always ready to take on the next challenge by your side.

Now you've decided that you're ready to welcome a new furry friend in your life, it's time to meet the dogs available for adoption.

You can search for a dog based on your location and lifestyle. We have dogs available for adoption across the whole of Ireland. While some dogs are based at our rehoming centre in Dublin, many of our dogs live all over Ireland with foster carers or their current owners until they can find their forever homes. The best way to find out how you can meet them is to fill out an application.

If you are hoping to adopt a puppy, we're happy to discuss this as part of the application process. Please bear in mind that we don’t usually add their rehoming profiles to our website as puppies grow and change in appearance so quickly.

Please bear in mind, if you are looking for a very specific breed, size or temperament, or have a very busy household, it may take longer for us to find your perfect match.

Many of the dogs in our care may have had a difficult start in life, or have specific medical or behavioural needs, and need a quieter household or one with no other pets. We try to match each dog with a family where we think they will have the best chance of success.
