Let’s make EVERY dog count this year

Ireland’s Dog Census is back for 2025!

In last year’s Census, we heard from 36,973 dogs with their owners and dog lovers.

But there is still so much more we need to know. Because the more we understand, the better the chance of helping the dogs of Ireland live their best lives.

Whether you own a dog or not, you can help us build on learnings from last year’s Census and deepen our understanding of what Ireland’s dogs need.

By taking part in Ireland’s Dog Census 2025, you could help keep more dogs and their owners together, and support people who may be struggling with the dogs they love.

You’ll also help Dogs Trust improve its support and services, ensuring more dogs can live life to the fullest.

We’ve learned so much, but we still don’t know everything. So, tell us what you know and help make every dog count this year.

This year’s Dog Census will take just a few minutes to complete – and you’ll get a FREE Every Dog Counts pin badge to wear with pride when you’re finished.

Can you chip in a few Euros?
