Partnerships Manager
Team: Fundraising | Location: Dublin/Hybrid | Full-time, permanent

Are you a relationship builder who can turn ambition into income and long-term partnerships? Do you thrive in complex environments where priorities shift, relationships matter, and outcomes are driven through collaboration?
At Dogs Trust Ireland, you’ll do more than manage partnerships. As a Partnerships Manager, you’ll play a central role in growing high-value relationships that support our mission to create a better world for dogs and the people who love them.
You’ll join a collaborative, purpose-driven team and take ownership of a portfolio spanning corporate partnerships, philanthropy, trusts and foundations, and legacy giving. This is an opportunity to shape how we work as a function, contributing to a more integrated, relationship-led approach during a period of significant organisational change.
You’ll be accountable for delivering income as part of a collective team target, balancing immediate results with the development of long-term, high-value partnerships.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the development and delivery of a portfolio of high-value relationships across corporate, philanthropy and legacy
- Achieving income targets while building sustainable, long-term partnerships
- Taking accountability for both individual portfolio performance and contributing to overall team income targets
- Developing and delivering proposals, pitches and engagement strategies aligned to organisational priorities
- Making clear prioritisation decisions across relationships, balancing opportunity, risk and long-term value
- Working collaboratively within a matrixed team, sharing resources and aligning activity to overall team objectives
- Coordinating delivery across internal teams to ensure partnership commitments are delivered to a high standard
- Building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders and identifying where leadership engagement will add value
- Using data and insight to manage pipeline, forecast income and inform decision-making
- Supporting the development of team capability, including line management and coaching of Partnerships Officers
We’re looking for someone who has
- Significant experience in fundraising, partnerships or high-value relationship management
- A strong network of relevant contacts and a proven ability to originate and grow new relationships
- A track record of delivering income against targets
- Strong strategic thinking and prioritisation skills
- Experience working across teams and influencing multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing or developing others
- The ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities
Why join us?
- A high-impact role shaping the future of Partnerships at Dogs Trust Ireland
- The opportunity to work across a diverse and meaningful portfolio of relationships
- A collaborative, values-driven environment focused on making a difference
- The chance to help create a better world for dogs and the people who love them
