Rio is a six-year-old Labrador with all the traits that make the breed so well loved. He is full of life, endlessly charming, and always ready to bring a smile to your face. Whether he is bounding around the garden or waiting eagerly for his next meal, Rio lives every moment with enthusiasm. He is very food motivated, which makes him a clever boy who learns quickly with the right encouragement. People are his favourite thing in the world, and he wants to be everyones best friend. Sometimes his excitement gets the better of him and he can be a little jumpy, so a home with older, dog-savvy children aged twelve and up would suit him best. Rio is looking for a home where he can be the only pet, as he loves having all the attention to himself. A fully secure garden is essential, giving him a safe space to explore and burn off some of that famous Labrador energy. This lovely boy will need a bit of guidance as he continues his journey, including toilet training and learning to walk nicely on the lead. What Rio needs most is a patient and committed adopter who can give him the time and support to settle in and thrive.
