Rosie is one of our longest residents, and it's impossible not to fall for her once you truly get to know her. This gorgeous, intelligent, and playful shepherd mix has so much to offer, just waiting for the right person to see it. Rosie forms incredibly strong bonds with her people, and once you're in her circle, her loyalty and love are unwavering. She's a bright girl who absolutely thrives on learning whether it's picking up new tricks or figuring out enrichment puzzles, Rosie is always eager to engage her mind and impress you with her cleverness. She has also enjoyed time in a wonderful foster home for sleepovers, where she's described as having a beautiful heart and a special way of bringing smiles to everyone around her. It's in these familiar, trusted environments that Rosie's true personality shines: affectionate, devoted, and full of quiet charm. Rosie can find new people a little overwhelming, so she needs time and patience to build trust. Because of this, she's looking for a committed, understanding family who will give her the space she needs to settle and show her true self. Beneath that initial nervousness is a deeply loving and faithful companion who just needs the chance to feel safe. She would be happiest in an adult-only home, where she can enjoy calm surroundings and private walks, building a strong, special bond with her person.
