About Lennox

Lennox is a young Boxer mix with a lovely, friendly nature and a wonderfully goofy personality. He is happiest when he is around people and is always keen to say hello; sometimes with a little too much enthusiasm and a bouncy greeting! Lennox and his brothers have spent most of their lives living outdoors, so he is now ready to discover all the fun and comforts that come with being part of a home. His new family will need to give him time and patience to settle in, as he learns new routines and gets used to life indoors. Watching him discover these everyday experiences for the first time will be a rewarding part of his journey. Lennox is still a young dog with lots to learn, so ongoing positive training will be an important part of his life. He will thrive with people who enjoy helping their dog learn and are ready to gently build his confidence, teach him good manners and help him channel his youthful energy. With consistency, encouragement and time, Lennox has every opportunity to become a wonderful companion. Lennox could potentially share his home with another playful dog who would enjoy his goofy antics and youthful energy. He could also live with older children or young teens who are comfortable around a large, bouncy dog and can be involved in helping him learn. If youre looking for a fun-loving young dog and would love to be part of his journey from outdoor living to becoming a confident, happy home companion, Lennox could be your perfect match.

Now you've decided that you're ready to welcome a new furry friend in your life, it's time to meet the dogs available for adoption.

You can search for a dog based on your location and lifestyle. We have dogs available for adoption across the whole of Ireland. While some dogs are based at our rehoming centre in Dublin, many of our dogs live all over Ireland with foster carers or their current owners until they can find their forever homes. The best way to find out how you can meet them is to fill out an application.

If you are hoping to adopt a puppy, we're happy to discuss this as part of the application process. Please bear in mind that we don’t usually add their rehoming profiles to our website as puppies grow and change in appearance so quickly.

Please bear in mind, if you are looking for a very specific breed, size or temperament, or have a very busy household, it may take longer for us to find your perfect match.

Many of the dogs in our care may have had a difficult start in life, or have specific medical or behavioural needs, and need a quieter household or one with no other pets. We try to match each dog with a family where we think they will have the best chance of success.
