Dogs are social butterflies! It's essential for both their health and development that they get to meet and interact with other dogs and people in safe environments.

Most dogs love experiencing and exploring new environments as this stimulates their different senses. Giving them the opportunities to walk on different surfaces; smell new scents; see different sights; and even taste new things (once they’re dog friendly, of course) will all serve as enrichment for your dog.

The same goes for meeting new people and other dogs once all interactions are done in a safe and friendly manner.

When introducing your dog to a body of water, it’s a good idea to start off with a shallow paddling pool in the garden. This will give them a new experience and is great for playtime.

With those hot days, its vital you know how to cool your dog down as overheating can be a serious health concern for dogs.

Just make sure they’re always enjoying themselves. If they ever show any sign of becoming worried by something they see, hear or smell, calmly lead them away. You should also ensure that your pup is comfortable travelling in the car before heading off for an adventure in a new place.
