A pooch-friendly pancake recipe for when you want to give your dog a special treat they’ll flippin' love. Perfect for Pancake Day, celebrations or a a training reward.

- 50g plain flour
- 1 egg
- 100 ml water
- Optional: toppings like xylitol-free peanut butter
Method
- Put all the ingredients into a bowl and whisk well.
- Pour the mixture into a squeezy bottle with a thin nozzle.
- Heat a frying pan to a medium temperature.
- Using the squeezy bottle, draw the outline of a bone or paw.
- Then fill it in with more mixture.
- Cook for 30 seconds on each side.
- Add toppings of your choice and serve!
When you make these pancakes, reduce your dog’s usual food portion so they’re not overfed. Some dogs could have sensitivities to the ingredients, so these might not be suitable for all pooches. If you’re concerned about giving your dog new foods speak to your vet.
