Help Provide
Emergency Vet Care
to a Puppy like Junior

Will you help a puppy like Junior in need of emergency veterinary care? Your gift can mean the difference between life & death.

Only a few weeks old when he arrived at Dogs Trust, Junior was so sick he could barely lift his head. Found under a hedge, he arrived to Dogs Trust in a box no bigger than a sheet of A4 paper - and he was so tiny he only filled a corner of it. We thought it would be a miracle if Junior survived the night. Malnourished, riddled with worms, and whimpering with pain, he was in a life or death situation.
It's thanks to the generosity of dog lovers like you that Junior received the emergency treatment he needed to survive.

With costs like worming tablets, high-nutrition food and round the clock specialist care, your gift really can be the difference between life and death for a puppy like Junior. Can you support us today?

Junior's journey isn't quite complete. Junior suffers from an usual leg problem called Carpol Hyperflexion, which may have been caused by those early weeks of hunger and neglect. As you can see from the x-ray below, the tendons in his front legs have contracted so he cannot straighten them properly. We're treating him with a splint for now. Our aim is to avoid surgery if at all possible - Junior has already endured so much.

Dogs Trust cares for an average of 180 dogs and puppies at any given time - many like Junior in need of emergency life saving treatment. Your gift today will help ensure dogs get the treatment they need - treatment that can be the difference between life and death.

Dogs Trust vet bills are in excess of €250,000 every year. From complex surgery to life saving veterinary care, you help make sure we do everything we can to save dog's lives.

Please donate to Dogs Trust today, and save the life of a puppy like Junior.
