Calling All Dog Lovers!
Get ready to spread some holiday cheer! Our annual Santa Paws Day is coming up, and we need YOUR help to make it magical for our furry friends here at Dogs Trust Ireland.
Please donate a toy before 24 Nov and spread some festive cheer!
Santa Paws Day is our annual tradition where we line up hundreds of generously donated dog toys in our rehoming centre and allow the dogs to choose their own Christmas present.
If you’d like to send in a toy for the dogs in our care, you can post them to:

Or if you live nearby, just drop them off during our opening hours:
Opening hours
Mon, Fri, Sat & Sun: 1:00–3:00 PM
Wed & Thu: 1:00–3:00 PM & 5:30–8:00 PM
Tue: Closed all day
We are located a 2 minutes drive from Exit 5, off the M50 on the Ashbourne Road.
Some of the toys that the dogs would really love are:
- Durable toys
- Squeaky teddies
- Rubber and soft toys
- Rope toys and raggers
- Treat dispensing toys
- Interactive toys
- Or anything quirky or unusual.
Please note: we’re no longer accepting children’s toys or teddies (dog toy teddies are still perfect!).
*While the dogs in our care do love tennis balls, we have a good supply of these at the moment, so we would love to give them more variety.
