At Dogs Trust Ireland, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Learning Coordinator to help deliver impactful learning experiences for dog owners, professionals, and colleagues across Ireland.
This is a key role within our Training and Engagement team, supporting the delivery, reporting, and continuous improvement of learning programmes that empower people to create a better world for dogs. You’ll work closely with the Learning Programme Manager and Head of Department to ensure our learning platforms, data, and reporting processes run smoothly - turning insights into action and helping every learner get the most from our content.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the delivery and administration of learning programmes for internal and external audiences across multiple platforms.
  • Manage learning technologies, including content updates, user enrolment, permissions, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate learning data and reports, tracking participation, completions, and engagement metrics to support continuous improvement.
  • Create dashboards and visual reports for leadership and stakeholders, identifying trends and opportunities for development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, trainers, and external vendors to coordinate schedules, data capture, and learning initiatives.
  • Support implementation of internal learning strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and timelines.
  • Monitor and manage social learning spaces, supporting peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and community engagement.
  • Provide first-line technical support and create best-practice documentation for learners and colleagues.
  • Act as a point of contact for GDPR and data protection compliance, ensuring responsible management of learner data.
  • Carry out all activities in line with legal frameworks, brand guidelines, and best practice standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience managing learning technologies or digital learning platforms, including enrolments, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong data management and reporting skills, with high attention to detail and ability to create clear, actionable insights.
  • Confident in data analysis and visualisation, able to identify participation trends and prepare engaging reports.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and efficient, capable of managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance.
  • Technically confident with digital tools and learning systems, and comfortable creating user guides or best-practice documentation.
  • Full Irish driving licence and access to own transport, essential for travel to our Dublin head office and other sites.
  • A strong commitment to Dogs Trust’s mission, with a passion for education, learning, and animal welfare.

Desirable:

  • Qualification in Learning and Development, Education, or a related field (e.g. instructional design, data analytics).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems such as Absorb, including configuration and reporting.
  • Familiarity with community management or facilitating peer learning spaces.
  • Understanding of GDPR and data protection regulations in an Irish context.
  • Experience in the non-profit or animal welfare sector.
  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools for creating dashboards and reports.
  • Experience coordinating learning projects across multiple teams and timelines.

Why Join Us?

  • A chance to support innovative learning programmes that make a real impact for dogs and people across Ireland.
  • A collaborative role where your organisation and analytical skills help drive continuous improvement.
  • The opportunity to work within a passionate, purpose-led team shaping the future of canine welfare education.
  • A flexible, hybrid role with scope to grow and develop your skills in learning technology and reporting.
