Finding an alternative
My dog is behaving in a way which seems aggressive
If your dog is behaving in certain ways, such as barking, growling, mouthing or resource guarding, that may seem aggressive to you. However, these behaviours may indicate something else, like the dog playing or even teething. If they are acting aggressively, it might be caused by fear or pain. The guides below should help you to figure out what the problem is and how to solve it.
It’s important to have a conversation with your vet if your dog’s behaviour has recently changed, or got worse, as there may be an underlying health problem.
