About Archie

Archie is a five-year-old mastiff with the heart of a teddy bear. This gentle giant is all about the simple pleasures in life - cuddles, soft beds, and crunchy apples (his absolute favourite treat). He adores people and will lean in for cuddles like its his full-time job. While he enjoys a short stroll to stretch those big legs, Archie is more of a sniff and snooze kind of guy - 20 minutes of walking, then its time to lounge. Hes a strong lad, so hell need someone confident handling his size, but his calm, affectionate nature makes him a dream to be around. Archie is looking for a home where he can be the only dog, as he prefers his own space and would appreciate calm, respectful distance from other dogs when out and about. A secure garden would be the cherry on top, giving him space to potter, sniff, and sunbathe at his leisure. If youre looking for a loyal companion with a big heart (and an even bigger head), Archie might just be your perfect match.

Now you've decided that you're ready to welcome a new furry friend in your life, it's time to meet the dogs available for adoption.

You can search for a dog based on your location and lifestyle. We have dogs available for adoption across the whole of Ireland. While some dogs are based at our rehoming centre in Dublin, many of our dogs live all over Ireland with foster carers or their current owners until they can find their forever homes. The best way to find out how you can meet them is to fill out an application.

If you are hoping to adopt a puppy, we're happy to discuss this as part of the application process. Please bear in mind that we don’t usually add their rehoming profiles to our website as puppies grow and change in appearance so quickly.
