About Toby

Toby is a loving, leggy lurcher with a heart of gold who makes fast friends with everyone he meets. As a young boy, he is still working through his training, but he has already shown great progress in the home and is eager to continue learning. With his love of food, Toby is highly motivated by treats and enjoys working for his rewards. When exploring new places, Toby carries himself with a calm and curious demeanour, taking everything in stride. At home, he loves to stretch his long legs and enjoy a burst of zoomies in the garden before settling back down. While toys can be entertaining, Toby will choose attention and affection from his people over them every time. He truly thrives on human companionship. Toby has lovely manners when meeting new doggy friends and could happily live with another dog in his future home. He has previously lived with a cat and could do so again, provided introductions are done slowly and gradually. Although he has managed being left alone well in the past, Toby will need a little time to adjust to his new surroundings, so any alone time should be built up gradually. Toby could live with older children who would feel comfortable around a taller dog. All round, Toby is a fantastic dog in so many ways and would suit a wide variety of home types. He's ready to bring love, companionship, and plenty of gentle charm to his lucky new family.
