Elliot is a loveable leggy lurcher who has big heart full of affection to give to a family! He adores people and happily greets anyone new that he meets. He will need a bit of time to adjust to his new home but once he has settled, he will make a wonderful addition to many home types. Elliot loves his walks and walks well on the lead. He is happy to say hello to other calm dogs and will be equally happy to continue walking past any dogs who don't want to say hello. He has lived with children before but can be giddy when saying hello so he would be best suited to older children who are used to dogs of his size. Elliot may cope being home alone for longer periods while his people are at work once he time to settle into his new home first. He loves a car ride and would be happy to join you on your weekend adventures. Elliot could live with another relaxed dog pending a meet and greet here in our centre. Elliot is a super affectionate gentleman who could be a great match for your home!

Now you've decided that you're ready to welcome a new furry friend in your life, it's time to meet the dogs available for adoption.

You can search for a dog based on your location and lifestyle. We have dogs available for adoption across the whole of Ireland. While some dogs are based at our rehoming centre in Dublin, many of our dogs live all over Ireland with foster carers or their current owners until they can find their forever homes. The best way to find out how you can meet them is to fill out an application.

If you are hoping to adopt a puppy, we're happy to discuss this as part of the application process. Please bear in mind that we don’t usually add their rehoming profiles to our website as puppies grow and change in appearance so quickly.
