About Benny

Benny is one of the longest residents in Dogs Trust and in turn is one of the most loved and adored dogs by all the staff. He is a sweet, affectionate and friendly boy who loves to make new human friends, join you for walks, play time in the garden or cuddles on the sofa. Being very food motivated, Benny loves to learn when tasty treats are on offer. He picks up new things with ease and has shown amazing progress and resilience during his time in kennels. Despite being an adult dog, Benny is still like a puppy in many ways and will draw you in with the most adorable puppy eyes and the biggest smile. Benny had a difficult past where he did not receive the socialisation with other dogs that he should have. While he is not a fan of other dogs, he has learned so much with his trainers to be able to pass other dogs when out and about without paying them much notice. Benny deserves a five star home as the only pet who will shower him with all the love he missed out on in his puppy days. Benny would love a home in a quiet area without many dogs around so that he can rest and relax without hearing lots of barking. He will need a secure garden where he can play and explore and would be best suited to a home with older teenagers or adults who are keen to continue his training. In return, Benny will create a space in your heart that will make you wonder how you ever lived without him.
