Crispin is a sweet and sensitive three-year-old beagle cross with a heart that is still learning how to trust. At first glance, he may seem like a confident little chap, but beneath that brave face is a boy who feels unsure about the world around him. Crispin needs a calm, adult-only home with patient and understanding adopters who can see past his surface confidence and support him as he learns to feel safe. When he is feeling worried, he likes to tuck himself away, so he would love to have a crate where he can retreat and relax when he needs some space. A fully secure garden is essential, giving Crispin a safe place for toilet breaks and a quiet space to practise wearing his lead and harness at his own pace. He will need to be the only pet in the home, but once he is ready, he could enjoy making doggy friends out on walks. Crispin is looking for someone who will let him take life one gentle step at a time. With kindness, patience and a quiet place to call his own, this lovely little lad has every chance to grow into the loyal companion he is meant to be.
