Volunteering
Volunteers are an important part of the Dogs Trust team.
We have a wonderful team of full-time dedicated canine carers at our Rehoming Centre, but with so many dogs to look after an extra pair of hands is often much appreciated!
If you’re interested in giving us the very valuable gift of your time, please download volunteer form, fill it in and return it to Dogs Trust, Volunteer Coordinator, Ashbourne Road, Finglas, Dublin 11.
Please wait to hear back from our Volunteer Coordinator, who will then invite you to an induction day.
Please note that for insurance reasons, volunteers working with dogs must be 18 or older.
Other ways to help
If you're too far from a Centre, there are also other ways to lend your skills. Every pound and penny counts towards helping us care for more dogs and keep our promise to never put down a healthy dog.
